Mount Semeru: Indonesian volcano spews ash 15km into sky

Indonesia's Mount Semeru has erupted, throwing a plume of hot volcanic ash 15km (50,000ft) into the sky.
Almost 2,000 residents have been evacuated, as authorities raised their warnings to the highest level.
